What we do

SPECIALISTS IN MOBILE GAMES AND APPLICATIONS

    

We’re accomplished iOS and Android developers, and as a company, development for mobile devices is where our roots lie. Whether we’re building an application from the ground up in Xcode (Apple’s development tools) for distribution on iOS devices, or a multi-platform game aimed at Google Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry AND iOS; we have the skills and the solutions!

We can also integrate any of the following features into an app to help it reach a wider audience:

Our team also specialise in the Unreal Engine and Development Kit. As one of the most powerful, adaptable, and perfected game engines in the world, developing in Unreal offers answers to any question a project can ask. It can deliver an entirely different breed of game using high-end hardware acceleration, the newest in engine technology, and cross-platform integration. Whatever the idea may be, we can bring it to life.

PERFECT CROSS-PLATFORM INTEGRATION

Using tools like the Unreal Development Kit, Cocos2D, Marmalade, Xcode AND our own technology, we’re able to employ the newest and most powerful technology around while ensuring 100% cross-platform capability for anything we develop. As such, we can deliver 2D/3D projects to a high level of quality for whatever platform the project demands. If designed and developed in the right way, a game can be distributed across a number of platforms at very little extra cost, increasing overall market potential. Coatsink develops top quality applications for as many platforms as possible!

About us

The Team is made up of the following individuals:

Paul Crabb is Technical Director, Tom Beardsmore is Creative Director and Joe Robson is Lead Programmer.

Nick Peacock works as a 2D/3D Artist, while Nico Tortolero works as a Programmer (and Musician!).

Fran Coles often lends her wonderful skills as a 2D Artist/Animator to our team, and Sound Effects and Music work are regularly outsourced to award-winning composers Tapio Liukkonen and Vince Webb. You can take a look at their credentials on our Affiliates page.
